Our long standing team are what makes our day care special, ensuring the days of our guests are fun filled what ever the weather throws at them.
Skilled and qualified in animal care our team are on hand to be there for your dog on the days that you can't, providing them with love, care, affection and of course fun! 


Day Care Enrichment Coordinator

Starting with the team in 2017 after relocating from Brighton, where Joe worked as an outdoor leader and qualified forest school practitioner for pre-school children. Joe has a long history of animal related qualifications, which include a degree in Animal Science, covering Biology, Conservation and Ecology. 


Day Care  Manager

Arriving at the start of our expansion to our new site in 2018, Jess brings a wealth of experience with her degrees in Animal Behaviour, Animal Psychology and Animal Conservation. With knowledge of caring for dogs of all breeds and ages Jess quickly become an integral part of the team and its progression to where the business is today.



Day Care Quality & Standards

With Degrees in Zoology, Animal Behaviour and Psychology Minna joined us in 2018 bringing her years of experience working in the pet industry; both in dog care and pet nutrition as well as canine hydration therapy.

Day Care Supervisor

Loving nothing more than interacting and playing with the gang, Sam can normally be found rolling around on the floor with our guests. Qualified as a teaching assistant Sam swapped care of the two legged variety for those with four, utilising her years of experience in a wide range of dog breeds.

Starting with the team in 2020, Emily has great experience with rescue dogs and large breeds, as well as being qualified in all things canine, first aid and dog handling. Inspired by Cornish wildlife, Emily also has hands on experience working with some of our native species. Emily has always aspired to work with man's best friend and she feels that she has really reached her life goal being part of the Doggy Day Care Cornwall team.


Day Care Supervisor

Sophie joined Doggy Day Care Cornwall in June after relocating back to Cornwall from Bristol. A fountain of knowledge when it comes to some of our larger doggies Sophie grew up with Mastiffs and Dogue De Bordeaux's as siblings so has an understanding for big paws and slobbery kisses.

Having a passion for exotics Sophie volunteered at Bristol Zoo for a number of years whilst she completed her degree in Zoological Management and Conservation. Now living her life long dream now working with man's best friend.

Avid Cat photographer and Degu rescuer, Natasha's role sees her keeping the shop stocked with all the latest arrivals of innovative natural pet supplies, along with our day to day best sellers.

Shop Manager


Skilled in the art of lateral thinking, Lucy uses her outstanding customer service skills to keep customers both human and canine satisfied. Lucy's canine companions Ziggy & Daisy have a zest for the best things in life.

Former Team Member Ryan has now returned to his roots to expand and share his life time of experience in animal care by training to become a teacher at Duchy on its Animal Management Course to continue bringing new qualified animal carers into the industry. 

We are very proud of Ryan and his choice and look forward to his students becoming future team members.
